Happy New Year
First of all I would like to wish you all a very happy New New Year, I wish you and your family health and happiness in 2018.
Christmas has come and gone now, it seems to have passed so quickly and we are now in January, I wonder where the time goes to, the months seem to just pass so quickly.
I would just like to mention how beautiful our Christmas lights were this year, all of the neighbours decorated their houses outside and it was like a winter wonderland. All of the trees were decorated with blue lights, a sight to behold, so thank you to our electrician Brendan, and thanks for the parcel in the Lake which blew out in the gale, never did find out what was in it. I thought it was an early Christmas present from Santa.
I had a relaxing Christmas and New Year spent with friends, my pal Big Tom and his wife Rose came to visit and we spent a few hours chatting about all manner of things including the music of course. I enjoy spending time with Tom as we have so much in common and we can chat for hours.
I visited with Tom on Saturday to wish him a happy New Year in person.
A friend from Dublin came to stay with me and that was a nice surprise, we had plenty of catching up to do.

My mam always enjoyed coming to Ballyliffin and I will miss her not being there but I know she will be there with me in spirit.
Keep safe and warm and be good to one another as we never know how long we have someone for.
Until the next time, take care.
